The link below is to the NENA data model which will be used for the exchange of data between the members and Telus. The current AMDSP specification is closely aligned with this specification and many of the fields and lookup tables used for data submission are explained in this document.

The following document is available from NENA. It is a guide for how to create data in the NENA format. Most of the information pertains to the new data format used by AMDSP but in a few cases that are noted in our new documentation our standard is different than the one recommended by NENA. A case of this is for RAMPS. We recommend that ramps take the name of the road that they depart from, and the NENA document recommends that they take the name of the road they are going to.
There are many helpful examples in the document, so it is recommended as a resource.
