Migration to New AMDSP System
Migration Date:
The AMDSP data distribution system will migrate to a new version (v3) on the evening of August 16, 2024. The current system (v2) will shut down at 3:00 pm. DNS records will be reallocated, but full migration will take several hours.
Data Availability:
Initially, there will be a hybrid system. Existing site data will remain but only in a compiled, static form (province-wide data only) and will not be updated after the new system goes live. New system data will be available for download. The old static data will not be removed until all our members are on the new system successfully. Data formats and domain values differ significantly between v2 and v3.
Specifications:
New data specifications are available on the specifications tab of the amdsp.ca website. Public data will be in AMDSP v3 format, aligned with the NENA GIS data model version 2a, with additional AMDSP fields. A NENA formatted dataset will be created, but distribution rules are not yet determined.
